Sailing on the catamaran
The Baltic Sea is an incredibly diverse sailing area that is right on your doorstep. To get an insight into the fascination of sailing, a three-day trip on a catamaran on the Baltic Sea is just the thing. Even experienced sea dogs will get their money's worth and experience a new side of sailing on a catamaran. Thanks to the large amount of space and the stable sailing characteristics of the catamaran, even those who have not yet had the opportunity to gain experience on a sailing ship will feel at home.
Itinerary
Warnemünde (Marina Hohe Düne)
At 10 a.m., all fellow sailors will meet at the Yachthafenresidenz Hohe Düne. Those who have a longer journey can also arrive the evening before with the additional evening check-in. As the crew has already bought breakfast, lunch and a BBQ, after a short introduction and the obligatory safety briefing, we can get started straight away. The lines are cast off and the catamaran leaves the harbour. Depending on the given wind and wave forecast, the itinerary of the sailing holiday is determined. A very nice option is to sail first to Gedser on the Danish side and then on to the beautiful seaside resort of Kühlungsborn.
Warnemünde - Gedser
While sailing, the catamaran offers plenty of space and various places to stay. In good weather, especially the net between the two hulls is a very popular place to stay. Guests are well protected from bad weather thanks to the saloon and the covered cockpit. Our experienced skippers are happy to pass on their knowledge to all interested fellow sailors and are happy to assist with manoeuvres.
Gedser
The evening is spent in a beautiful sailing harbour. All fellow sailors prepare a BBQ together and let the evening end in a relaxed atmosphere on board.
Gedser - Kühlungsborn
The next day begins with a delicious breakfast on board the catamaran. With a bit of luck, this will be accompanied by curious seals, which can often be found on the sandbank off Gedser. After breakfast, the ship is made ready for sailing. In the afternoon, the catamaran reaches the famous seaside resort of Kühlungsborn after a fantastic day of sailing. The beautiful promenade with its many small shops and restaurants invites you to stroll and linger. Here we end the evening of the sailing trip in a delicious fish restaurant.
Kühlungsborn - Warnemünde
On the last day of the sailing trip, the catamaran leaves the harbour in Kühlungsborn after a leisurely start to the day. If you feel like it, you can sail along actively again or relax in the sheltered cockpit. In good weather, a stop for a swim is also a welcome interruption to the sailing trip. The sailing trip ends at around 4 p.m. back in the home port of Hohe Düne.
Everyday life of the berth charter catamaran sailing trip
At 10 a.m., the skipper welcomes all fellow sailors on board the catamaran. Guests with a longer journey have the option of using the optional evening check-in to spend an extra night in the catamaran's cosy cabin. After an introduction to the special features on board a catamaran and a short safety briefing, they will cast off. All interested fellow sailors are welcome to help the skipper and learn a lot about sailing during the sailing trip. For those who prefer to relax, there are plenty of opportunities on the catamaran to sit back and enjoy the symbiosis of wind and wave. When you arrive at your destination, the catamaran will be moored and there will be enough time for a short excursion ashore. In the evening, the BBQ is prepared together, which is then cooked on the jetty or on board. The evening ends in a cosy get-together and in a beautiful harbour atmosphere.
