Get to know the Baltic Sea under sail
Experience a few days on the water under sail and enjoy the wind, the waves and the sound of the sea. Discover the fascination of sailing during this time, either by actively sailing along or simply enjoying the moments. Come on board with us and leave your everyday life behind! The sailing trip on the Baltic Sea is suitable for everyone, sailing experience is not necessary. The sailing area for weekend cruises extends, starting from the marina Hohe Düne, to the destinations Gedser, Fehmarn or along the Darß to Barhöft. We are also happy to visit the old river and the quays of Warnemünde and/or the Rostock city harbour.
Itinerary
Warnemünde (Marina Hohe Düne)
We will start at the Yachthafenresidenz Hohe Düne near Warnemünde. All fellow sailors meet here on the first day at 09:00. The morning begins with a short introduction to the crew and the ship, as well as a safety briefing and trip planning. The crew has already done the shopping for breakfast, lunch and a BBQ. At around 11 a.m. it's time to cast off. As the yacht harbour residence is located directly on the Baltic Sea, we can already set sail behind the harbour exit.
Warnemünde - z.B. Gedser
We determine the route of the sailing trip on site depending on the wind direction and the wind strength. Possible destinations include Gedser in Denmark (approx. 5 h), Kühlungsborn (approx. 4 h) or the Darß (approx. 5 h). The trip is suitable for sailing beginners as well as for experienced sailors. Everyone can lend a hand. Our experienced skipper is happy to pass on his expertise to anyone who is interested and is also happy to receive active support.
Gedser
The night is spent in a beautiful sailing harbour. In the idyllic atmosphere, there will be a BBQ for dinner, which all the fellow sailors will prepare together.
Gedser - z.B. Kühlungsborn
After breakfast, the ship is made ready for the next sailing trip. Then it's time to cast off and set sail. The first part of the trip takes us past the long sandbank off Geiser. This is the seal paradise. If there are not too many waves, you will often be observed or accompanied by the curious animals. Afterwards, you will reach Kühlungsborn after an approx. 5-hour trip, during which everyone who wants to may take the wheel. If the weather is good, the sailing yacht will stop for a swim shortly before reaching Kühlungsborn. Once in the harbour, there is enough time to stroll through the beautiful Baltic Sea resort before everyone meets again for dinner in a restaurant.
Kühlungsborn - Warnemünde
On the last morning, after a hearty breakfast together, you will head back to your home port. You will reach your home port in the afternoon at around 4 pm.
Everyday life on the berth charter sailing tour
At 10 a.m., the skipper welcomes all fellow sailors on board the sailing yacht. Guests with a longer journey have the option of using the optional evening check-in to spend an extra night in the yacht's cosy cabin. After an introduction to the special features on board and a short safety briefing, they cast off. The skipper always needs active support when casting off and on, but also when setting the sails, during manoeuvres and, of course, when steering, the skipper is happy to have the support of the crew. It makes no difference whether you are a sailing novice or an experienced sailor, as the skipper will guide you precisely in all activities. If you prefer to relax, find a comfortable place in the cockpit and enjoy the sea and the sea air. After a beautiful day of sailing, the yacht arrives at a beautiful marina in the afternoon. Here you will find sanitary facilities. Before dinner, there is enough time for a short shore excursion to explore the area. After a delicious visit to a restaurant, the evening ends with a relaxing drink.
