Sailing a catamaran on the Baltic Sea
On a catamaran sailing trip on the Baltic Sea, you will experience the fascination of sailing up close. The home port Hohe Düne has direct access to the Baltic Sea, so that the day trip can start directly after casting off. Thanks to the construction as a catamaran, the ship glides stably on two runners across the Baltic Sea, so that all sailors as well as those new to sailing feel immediately at ease. In fine weather, the net between the hulls offers a great place to stay. But there is also plenty of space to relax and enjoy yourself in the saloon and cockpit. In bad weather, you are also very protected here and can still experience sailing.
The sailing area around Warnemünde offers many possibilities. Depending on the wind and wave forecast, the day trip can take you to Kühlungsborn, in the direction of Darß or even across the Warnow to Rostock's city harbour.
Schedule catamaran cruise on the Baltic Sea
The day trip on the catamaran is all about sailing along and enjoying. All fellow sailors meet on board the catamaran in the Hohe Düne marina near Warnemünde. The home port is only 20 minutes away from Rostock, directly on the Baltic Sea. This eliminates the long journey by catamaran from Rostock to Warnemünde and the sailing trip can begin immediately. Behind the harbour exit lies the Baltic Sea. Here the skipper sets sail and sets course for the day's destination. During the catamaran trip you can help the skipper with the manoeuvres and learn a lot about sailing and the catamaran from him. Compared to a sailing yacht, the catamaran offers many more places to stay and does not experience leaning even when there is a lot of wind. All fellow sailors have the possibility to stay in the cosy cockpit, in the protected saloon or in good weather also in the front on the net of the catamaran. After approx. 7 hours, the catamaran passes the harbour entrance again after a fantastic sailing trip on the Baltic Sea.
